Make sure you are constantly networking. Use modeling website forums as well as friends. Getting your first step in the door is probably going to be the most difficult part of your modeling career. Get to know makeup artists and hairdressers, as these people may work for companies that may need models.
Read fashion magazines. These magazines can provide information about companies and people who are hiring.
Join an agency. Do your research and join a reputable one. Reputable modeling agencies will not require any upfront payment or money from you. You will usually only need a head and full body shot. Some agencies may also require an interview.
